3/4 Day Trip

The three quarter day trip is between 6:30AM – 3:30PM. On these trips we’ll either be fishing San Diego Bay, or in the local waters of La Jolla and anywhere in between. On these trips we typically focus on Rockfish, Bass, Halibut, Dorado, Yellowtail and Tunas.

California Sportfishing License

For our 3/4 day fishing trips in San Diego, all anglers aged 16 and above must have a valid form of ID (such as a Driver’s License, Military ID, or Passport) and a California sport fishing license for the day of the trip. Fortunately, obtaining a license is a simple process for your fishing excursion with us. There are two ways to get one:

You can easily purchase a license online HERE by logging in as a guest, going to “purchase license,” and selecting “Sport Fishing 1 Day License (res/nonres). Be sure to set the date for our fishing trip, print it out, and sign it.

Alternatively, you can purchase a license on the day of the fishing trip at the landing next door.

A Mexican Fishing License is required for all passengers on our fishing charter excursions to the Coronado Islands & mexican waters. A valid Passport is also necessary. Fortunately, obtaining the license is a simple process for guests joining us on our fishing trips. You can obtain one by using the link HERE.

Charter Payment:
Payment for your deep sea fishing trip can be made in cash, Zelle or Venmo. A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking, with the balance payable on the day of the trip.

Cancellation Policy:
If you need to cancel your trip, please notify us at least 14 days in advance to receive a full refund of your deposit. Cancellations made less than 14 days before the trip are non-refundable.
However, you have the option to apply your deposit towards a future charter trip.

Charter Rates:
Our private charter fishing rates in San Diego are subject to change, but we ensure that all pricing is updated on our website. We never impose fuel surcharges on our trips.

Weather and Safety:
Your safety is paramount to us. We monitor weather and sea conditions daily & reserve the right to reschedule your trip if conditions are deemed unsafe. We strive to accommodate your schedule and will work to get you on the soonest available trip you shooed should the schedule allow it.

Rescheduling by Fluid Boat Charters:
While rare, unforeseen circumstances such as weather, illness & mechanical issues may necessitate rescheduling. We will make every effort to arrange alternative options for you. However, we are not liable for any costs associated with travel arrangements to or from San Diego, including airfare, lodging, or transportation.
